Finally received it today, purchased from the EU shop but dispatched from California, had to pay extra taxes, not as per the conditions… thanks a lot NYA
Quickly put together, this album finds the artist looking back on his life and contemplating his own end. The music, mostly acoustic and minimal, flows from one track to the next, each side containing a single piece. Neil's voice betrays his years but suits the tales he's sharing. The sound quality is top-notch, as he's always been particular about that, but the record has a few bothersome clicks despite cleaning. Obviously intended as a personal present for his fans.
The audio quality is alright. I primarily purchased it because I attended their tour last year. The singing cuts out a fair amount and the record isn't completely quiet, but it's okay overall.
A sentimental track with a delicate tone, solid pressing, great sound quality.
