Finally, this album has received a reissue, and it's an amazing release for a fantastic, yet underappreciated band! I've only had a chance to listen to the main album so far, and it sounds fantastic to my ears. I'm certain that the quality has a lot to do with Bob Ludwig and Chris Bellman. Those two guys don't attach their names to poorly sounding pressings. I'm really looking forward to checking out the alternative tracks, demos, and outtakes for some of these songs. All in all, a wealth of music from a great band that I've been eagerly awaiting to see a top-notch vinyl pressing from! Texasbear
Yet another incredible release by Robert Ludwig! This pressing boasts an ENORMOUS soundstage with deep 3D-like fidelity. It truly shines when you crank up the volume. The clarity and separation are stunning, and the bass just rolls off perfectly. Highly, highly recommended! [Tech specs in my profile]
At last, I've discovered my long-lost gem. The quality is superb and the audio is incredibly vibrant. Pure joy for 75 minutes!
I had this dream last night where every song I owned sounded just like this track. Man, I had to snap out of it.
I'm absolutely in love with this album and all the Alternates/Outtakes/Demos. Just a small problem with my copy: The 'cream' pressing has brown specks scattered across both LPs. Apart from that, it's flawless.
