  • Perfect Pressing, Alive Sound

    5 out of 5 stars
    baanjka13December 30, 2024United States🇺🇸

While the ratings on this pressing haven't been low (all above 4 stars), I'm amazed it's not even higher... this pressing is fantastic! It definitely deserves a perfect 5 stars from me. The band feels so alive in my room, yet never too harsh or tiring. The instrument separation and soundstage are excellent. The horns even remind me of some of my original blue notes, which is saying a lot.

  • Early Mono Gem Glows

    4 out of 5 stars
    nukhtwuxOctober 29, 2024United States🇺🇸

Absolutely adore this early mono version. It's incredibly punchy and straight to the point. Gene Ammons' sax sounds so authentic, as do the other musicians. The pressing is top-notch. Would definitely recommend, especially at the current prices. It's such a fantastic alternative to the Acoustic Sounds/AP releases.
