This could be pretty awesome for those who enjoy the ambiance of a crackling fireplace while jamming out to tunes. The audio quality is decent, but the vinyl itself is not up to par. It's even more disappointing since it's mastered at a lower volume, which makes the surface noise more noticeable. It's a real bummer they can't seem to figure out how to press quiet vinyl these days.
Unlike what others have said, this is a true Al Jarreau classic for me. My copy is flawless, no hint of any hiss. I've got several MOV pressings in my collection and they're all brilliant, so Linnboi must've had a real bad luck. Mine's numbered 1402.
Once again, MOV has delivered a superb pressing and release. It's quiet and sounds fantastic.
