Wow, just incredible! My copy's more of a black smoke with black splatters instead of clear, I'd even go as far as to say it's the best pressing of this album.
Conan's album is fantastic, though Urban may have missed the mark a tad. The record's design is awesome, but you can only truly appreciate it during the day or under bright lights. At night, the "Electric Storm" effect is tough to spot. It sounds a bit wonky, but that might be my record player acting up. It's not the highest quality pressing, but it still sounds decent despite my minor gripes.
Urban really messed up on this pressing. The first copy I got came in a sealed bag, but the record itself was already opened. That one was mostly black with just a few tiny yellow streaks. However, the second copy I received is absolutely stunning with a great balance of yellow and black. Both copies sound great, I believe they were pressed by the same place that did my standard red Superache, and they did a fantastic job on that one too.
The record's quality is absolutely fantastic!! It's a real shame that the production sounds compressed, as it's mixed and mastered for tiny speakers… it's lacking in depth.
I must say, this pressing is absolutely gorgeous! The color is just spot on, it's definitely become one of my top picks in my collection. I'm really impressed with the audio and quality of this version.
