Super detailed and cozy 1st pressing. Totally the one to get!👌
I stumbled upon a version of this with "FUTURE DISC JP" on both sides, and wow, FMF has never sounded this incredible before. The guitars are so much more prominent, the drums pack a serious punch, the vocals are crisp and clear, and the range in the recording is vast without being harsh. This is the best I've heard this album sound, compared to an original CD, an original CRC LP, and the 2021 Blue LP.
Wow, this pressing is absolutely insane. My Matrix and sticker go perfectly with this one, but I'm bummed there's no gold tin foil promo stamp on the barcode.
The packaging is quite nice (includes a lyric insert), and the vinyl is quiet with no unwanted static - however, it's not well-centered. The sound quality isn't flawless (there are many acoustic guitars, but they could sound better, and some tracks, like "Running down a dream," are overcompressed), but it's alright. Overall rating: music 4.5/5, this pressing 4/5.
The sound is amazing! It's really well-balanced, and I'm picking up on details I'd never heard before.
