This isn't the quietest record in my collection, and the grooves are so near the edge (which is quite rounded) that it's a challenge to place the needle at the beginning of each side without either missing the first few seconds or having it slip off the edge and skip those seconds anyway (or perhaps I'm just not doing it right 😅). Still, it's a pleasant listen once it gets started.
Incredible pressing. Silent as a whisper, fantastic dynamic range, honestly one of the top records in my collection.
This record spins beautifully on my Fluance RT85 turntable, paired with an AT 540 micro line stylus (you know, for the audiophile who's a tad too particular?). It's a bit on the quiet side, which is odd considering there are only 3-4 tracks per side... But I haven't noticed any issues during playback, so I'll just turn up the volume a notch or two.
This version is an improvement over the 2014 one, but it didn't quite meet my expectations. Still, it's a fantastic listen! 🎶
This pressing didn't quite work for me, as many of the tracks come across as all messed up and muffled.
