I was really looking forward to Bananarama's new CD, which was supposed to come out in the USA in July 2019 according to Amazon. But now, when I checked, it's not even listed :(. All I can find is the vinyl LP version, which is set to release on July 19, 2019. This album is one of their best releases ever, so I'm really disappointed it's not available on CD!
Let me tell you, this album is absolutely fantastic. Those ladies really know how to deliver. I'm particularly fond of 'Stuff Like That'.
I absolutely adore this new USA deluxe CD version of Bananarama's latest album "Love In Stereo"! I'm so glad I held off and didn't buy the standard 10 track UK edition right away. I don't really care about having a "signed" copy, I'm more than happy with the one I have. Every song on this CD is fantastic, a perfect blend of modern pop and dance beats. The arrangements are incredibly catchy, and the vocals from these talented ladies are outstanding. I'm particularly fond of "Looking For Someone" (Extended mix) & "Tonight" (Bright Light Bright Light Mix). This album deserved to be a massive hit, it's a shame that Bananarama's quality pop music is being ignored, especially in the USA. All I see dominating the Billboard hot 100 & Hot 200 (albums) is terrible rap music, like Drake, NF, Chance The Rapper etc. I've listened to all the latest rap releases (just ten seconds of each track is enough for me) and they're nothing special or catchy. They're filled with vulgar, low class language and the "N" word. All the tracks are monotone and sound the same, bad. Especially on Drake's albums. The Hot 100 used to be all about "POP" music, not RAP!
5 STARS!! This is Bananarama's finest album since they became a duo. The opening track "Love in Stereo" is an absolute smash, penned by the original Sugababes. The rest of the record is packed with lively pop and dance tunes. "Got to Get Away" is another catchy radio hit. The production is top-notch! The vocals are stunning and multi-layered, while the beats are a blast. Perfect for welcoming spring and summer. Don't miss out, give it a listen!
I wanna be the first to talk about this amazing new CD from the pop icons Bananarama! I've just listened to all ten songs on "In Stereo" and honestly, every single one is a banger. Each track is super catchy, brilliantly sung, and produced to perfection. It's currently sitting at #35 on the iTunes charts today, and guess what? It's also dropping on vinyl! Bananarama's back, and they're killing it, girls! ):
