Incredibly flat, with fantastic dynamics throughout and a super clean sound- I reckon the few clicks on my copy are probably my fault from carelessly dropping the needle between songs when I was younger! I was thinking about getting the 2023 remaster- but after checking out the reviews, this version is definitely the better pressing.
This remaster is a letdown, which isn't shocking, given how great the original release is. The highs are way too pronounced with an echo effect. There's hardly any bass.
Features my all-time favorite track, the beautiful homage to John Lennon: Empty Garden.
The final two songs on Side 2 have annoying hiss and crackle that drown out the music, not a quality pressing. I'll give another copy a shot...
