  • Top-Notch Quality, Excellent Sound

    5 out of 5 stars
    yvdinxivq47December 18, 2025United States🇺🇸

The quality of this issue is absolutely top-notch. Those see-through inner sleeves are made of this thick, almost parchment-like paper with printed pictures and words, and the gatefold is put together really well. The booklet is a nice touch too. The discs themselves are pressed to perfection, with barely any surface noise—even during the quiet parts and between songs. The sound is deep, punchy, clear, and full of life. The Boss's voice sounds incredible on this pressing. SO MUCH BETTER than the CD. Letter To You has got to be one of Bruce's best albums, and I'd definitely recommend this record to anyone.

  • Springsteen's Triumphant Return

    4 out of 5 stars
    XuozQoelbtNovember 16, 2025United Kingdom🇬🇧

After a thirteen-year gap since the release of the impressive "Magic", and following four studio albums that, while not bad, certainly weren't among his finest, Bruce Springsteen made a somewhat surprising return with "Letter To You". I approached this new album with caution: at some point after "Magic", I started to worry that Springsteen had become "just" an extraordinary live performer, but perhaps no longer capable of creating new, truly impactful music. Boy, was I mistaken. "Letter To You" is a genuinely thoughtfully crafted, written, and constructed album that is relevant and, most importantly, heartfelt. It dares to begin not with a bang, but with the intimate, elegiac, almost ceremonial tone of "One Minute You're Here", and then delivers anthem after anthem of pure rock 'n' roll where that same elegiac essence can be felt here and there, bittersweet yet infused with the energy and uplifting spirit of rock. Because "Letter To You" excels in blending the past and the present, where the young, life-lusting Bruce (channeled here through the absolutely stunning "Janey Needs A Shooter", "If I Was The Priest"- I love how his voice cracks at certain points in this one- and "Song For Orphans", all originally written in the seventies and officially released as studio recordings here for the first time) meets his older, wiser, and more reflective self to great effect, and both fill these twelve fantastic songs with powerful imagery in a way that only a truly exceptional storyteller can. The new songs are also outstanding: the title track, "Last Man Standing", "Ghosts"- a stadium anthem right from the get-go- "The Power Of Prayer" and especially "I'll See You In My Dreams" (one of those rare perfect album closers) are already among my favorites from The Boss' songbook, with a tight E Street Band (shout out to Max Weinberg!) showing why they are legends. All in all, "Letter To You" is an exceptional, honest album that brings the best Springsteen in years back to the stage where, despite the nostalgic tone of these songs, we would like to see him for many more years.

  • Top Pick Since Split

    4 out of 5 stars
    lytunlaxcibOctober 7, 2025United States🇺🇸

This album is incredibly well-crafted and might just be my top pick since the E-Street Band split. The sound quality on this copy is vibrant and rich. Occasionally, the midrange can get a bit buried, but it's not a major issue. The pressing is super clean, and the overall package is absolutely stunning.

  • Mixed Album, Not for Me

    2 out of 5 stars
    OliiKeryikAugust 12, 2025United States🇺🇸

The opening song almost made my brain want to crawl out of my head. But I stuck with it and the rest of the album isn't too terrible. Overall, it's way too American for my taste, so I won't be listening to this anytime soon. 3/10 -> 2/5

  • Bruce's Top-Notch Work

    5 out of 5 stars
    Ragxn77July 28, 2025United States🇺🇸

From beginning to end, this is top-notch. An amazing dynamic pressing that truly showcases some of Bruce's finest work in a while! The jacket, inner sleeves, and booklet are all superb. They've used some sort of rice paper, maybe? It looks fascinating and shouts quality. Don't hold back, go ahead and grab this one!!
