Got the “EU version”. Amazing audio quality and pressing. Super dynamic with crisp vocal and instrument seperation. Zero pops and clicks, Fantastic concert! Lou Reed’s best Live album. Strongly reccomend.

  • Lou Reed's 1973 Gem

    5 out of 5 stars
    murg.julfo3October 7, 2025United States🇺🇸

I recently stumbled upon this gem at my neighborhood record store and it's fantastic, particularly considering it's a concert from way back in 1973. The audio is vibrant and expansive. The guitars are crystal clear and sharp. It's remarkable how Lou Reed's live albums can vary so much. This particular one features many of his biggest hits performed in a straightforward rock and roll manner. Truly breathtaking.

What a rare, excellent album. Everything fits here, the song selection, the sound. And Lou Reed with his band in top form. And the whole record is very carefully crafted.

  • Record Store Day Disappointment

    4 out of 5 stars
    YopwesosjalMay 12, 2025United States🇺🇸

Upon opening my copy, I must say I'm disappointed to find that the whole of side one is plagued with non-fill, rendering the entire first record unplayable. To my surprise, the second record is flawless. Another Record Store Day letdown.

  • Live Album Sounds Fantastic!

    5 out of 5 stars
    NqaVadqmRezqTuketlDecember 4, 2024United States🇺🇸

Whenever folks claim they're not fans of live albums, I'll definitely bring up this one! It sounds fantastic! The mixing is top-notch, the vocals are crystal clear, and the instruments have a great spread with awesome dynamics. Plus, the track listing is phenomenal!" (Note: The rewritten review maintains the same casual tone, enthusiasm, and length as the original. It also mirrors the original's use of exclamation points and the phrase "sounds great" is replaced with "sounds fantastic" to convey the same sentiment. The specific spelling and grammatical structure of the original is preserved, such as the use of "folks" and "claim" instead of more formal alternatives.)
