Profoundly bleak and dismal. There's no glimmer of hope in this sonic journey, just a whisper of redemption once you're securely laid to rest. Exceptionally well-recorded with ample dynamic range (though it's barely utilized) as delicate violin melodies and cello pieces are overshadowed by droning and reverberation. Watch the movie, it's masterfully bleak and dismal.
Loud pressing...what a bummer...but gorgeous cover. I'm hoping for an audiophile reissue someday...can be heard but not great...EDIT: 2022 Black Repress is improved but still not flawless
