I'm genuinely puzzled by the choice of rather dull bonus tracks included in this release. They might have opted to fit the entire album onto two LPs and even included "Canyon Jam". Because of the extended runtime on each side, particularly on the first disc, the music seems a bit cramped, and the soundstage isn't as expansive. It's not that it sounds terrible, but I'd definitely choose the CD or lossless version over this any day.
Could anyone do a comparison between this one and the 2017 model? Also, any details on dynamic range would be great. Thanks a lot.
Amazing album, lovely reedition. Nice box, awesome vinyl colors. Excellent mastering, solid pressing.
Quick note: the ROGV-150's right year is 2022, not 2024. This BOX is just amazing for experiencing Roots' full vibe.
