The sound quality of this pressing is impressive. The mids are well-balanced and the clarity is excellent. The mastering is quite alike to the Japan Philips SFX series on the Black Sabbath album.
Silent as a grave, indeed. But I wouldn't suggest it. The (European) re-release misses the usual punch, and the bass is seriously lacking. Top marks for the recording, but only three out of five for the pressing.

Absolutely adore the audio quality. The vintage US pressings never let you down, consistently offering a dynamic, rich, and crisp listening experience. This album is a true gem, definitely within my top 3 picks from the band.
this mastering+pressing is way too, too trebly. i'd steer clear, if it was me.
