The pressing sounds fantastic and is crystal clear. However, the featured artist on track 8 completely messed up the song.
This is a really neat record. The vinyl is quite well made. The artwork looks amazing in person. The LP has a tinted white cream hue, and I’m not sure if it was intentional, but there’s little streaks of purple and yellow on my copy. The sound quality is quite good and clear. Each song stands out and is different from the others, making this album enjoyable to listen to. The reasons behind creating this album are truly great too, and you can see it pretty clearly in “Smile” and “Not the End of the World” as she’s trying to bring light to everything happening this year.
This album is seriously overlooked! From "Never really over" to "Small talk," it's got that vibe many are after, even if it's not as experimental as some folks hoped.
