Whether a review is positive, negative, or neutral, we always publish it. However, we screen every review to ensure it is authentic and free of profanity. These checks happen automatically, though a human occasionally steps in. We never pay for reviews.

  • Skid Row's Misguided Detour

The album's sound is alright. I wasn't ever a huge enthusiast of it, but I am a supporter of Skid Row, so I bought it back then and again now. Having said that, they truly messed up by going this way, instead of sticking with Slave to the Grind. Pantera didn't stray from their path and they turned out alright.

  • Noisy but Worth It

    5 out of 5 stars
    Virpi51October 2, 2025United States🇺🇸

The introducing grooves on both records of my copy are quite noisy, even more so than usual. Fortunately, once the music begins, the background noise seems to vanish entirely. There are some minor tickles, mostly between tracks, even after I gave them an ultrasonic clean. The vinyl itself is flat and looks fantastic with that cool blue and black marbled effect. As for the sound? It's really good, I'd say (bar the noise issue), Seb's voice is right up front, maybe a tad too aggressive or emphasized. And yes, both records are loud (as others have mentioned) but clear and powerful. I'd recommend buying this release. I don't have the original 1995 CD or LP to compare, but this one's worth the money, even if I was hoping for quieter vinyl (a quality control issue, sadly common in today's vinyl industry, sigh!).
