This vinyl record is absolutely amazing, yet it seems like a chance was missed. If they'd done a bit of remastering to make the vocals stand out more, and perhaps reduced some of the vocal reverb, it could've been a true vinyl treasure.
Discovered a pristine, unopened promo copy with a gold stamp. It's absolutely incredible!
Great pressing, the mix - guitar, vocals, bass, drums - is really well done, sounds crisp and full. The cover art? - they could've done better… perhaps just black with the Scorpions logo. I'm eager to compare it with this: https://www.discogs.com/de/release/27014130-Scorpions-Taken-By-Force
Oh my god-AMAZING sound! Massive dynamic range. Bass goes so deep. Drums hit hard and pack a punch-cymbals sparkle. Guitars and vocals/backing vocals are crystal clear with great distinction. Acoustic guitar sounds like it's right there in your space. You can hear every little note fade away. No noise in the quiet parts. One of the top rock albums for sound quality I've ever listened to.
