The vinyl from Analogue Productions is absolutely fantastic. It's a flawless disc with an outstanding portrayal of the music. Each instrument is brought to life with stunning clarity, particularly the drums and cymbals which sound breathtaking. It's swiftly become one of my most prized records in the entire collection.
Out of all 50 AP Prestige series I own, these ones stand out as my top pick for both how they perform and the sound quality.
This one truly knocked my socks off. Aside from the fantastic performance that you'd expect from AP, the musicianship is on another level. Booker shines as he ought to, but the interplay between Davis and Dawsin is absolutely phenomenal. A must listen in my opinion.
Analogue Productions truly hit a home run with this reissue.
