Whether a review is positive, negative, or neutral, we always publish it. However, we screen every review to ensure it is authentic and free of profanity. These checks happen automatically, though a human occasionally steps in. We never pay for reviews.

  • Albert's Superior Sound

    5 out of 5 stars
    Yevmp86December 20, 2025United States🇺🇸

This one's the harder to find of the two Australasian versions and, in my opinion, it's the better of the two. Sure, the production quality wasn't always praised, but if you can snag an Albert, you're getting the best it ever sounded!

  • AC/DC Album: Great Sound, Low Volume

    4 out of 5 stars
    NdiroyJuly 16, 2025United States🇺🇸

AC/DC has really outdone themselves with this fantastic album, and the sound quality is impressive. However, I wish there was a bit more hot cut vinyl. The audio is great, but the pressing could definitely use a bit more volume.

  • Treble Boost Ruins Remaster

    3 out of 5 stars
    FashifwFbiRpiwpojJuly 11, 2025United States🇺🇸

This remaster's got a real annoying treble boost. The bass is solid and the dynamics aren't bad, but that high-end just ruins it. Probably best to steer clear.

  • AC/DC's Rocking Masterpiece

    4 out of 5 stars
    xefyde_sfJune 27, 2025Deutschland🇩🇪

If you really want to rock, then AC/DC is the right choice. On this album, as on almost all of their records, you'll find two absolute killer tracks (usually the singles), three or four earworms, and the rest is solid middle-class: not really bad, but still good enough that the songs are fun and damn rockin'. The album kicks off with "Thunderstruck," which could also convince with that epic video on MTVIVA back in the day. If you don't know this song, you must have been held captive in a bunker until today. If you ever get knocked out by a lady, as described in the second song, "Fire your guns" is the perfect call to action, so you know what to do. This track rocks like crazy. The second single, "Moneytalks," also rocks and convinces with this easy-to-sing-along refrain: "Come on, come on, lovin' for the money, Come on, come on, listen to the money talk." The title track comes across a bit weak, maybe because the intro is just too long. Then comes a very special Christmas song à la AC/DC with the special request "Mistress for Christmas." And if you're already rocking, then do it right with "Rock your heart out." Once again, it's about the theme of "Provocative Woman" in "Are you ready," and dirty lyrics like in "Got you by the balls" always work for this band. From the ninth song on, the album unfortunately becomes monotonous, and only the closing track "If you dare" can convince, as here you hear dirty blues rock and all band members loudly scream out the refrain "If you dare / Come outside and play.

There's no need to say that the album is fantastic. Plus, this release is incredible. It'll make your speakers come alive.
