Some folks here might've been waiting for the first track to kick in, heh. Sure, there's a bit of hiss, but it doesn't ruin the album at all—it still sounds fantastic! Just picked up my copy from Amazon, and after one spin, I was like "man, I'd've kicked myself if I missed out on this" (even though I wouldn't have had a clue how it sounded beforehand, blah blah. Forget the logic. This is awesome! Best LCD in my opinion!)
It's super smooth, can't figure out what these other folks are on about. Dunno.

Appearance is top-notch, however, the audio quality is a bit meh...there's a noticeable surface noise and the volume from the master press is quite low.
When I crank up the volume during the soft beginning of Dance Yrself Clean, an awful, loud white noise comes through. I don't believe this is meant to happen. Plus, the first songs on each side of the second disc (You Wanted a Hit and Somebody's Calling Me) have some pretty bad skips. Really let down by this.
