  • Disappointing Vinyl Reissue

Since I upgraded my turntable and stylus, I've been letting the Discogs app pick out random albums for me…My record is in good condition, but… there's still quite a bit of background noise that usually fades away- but the volume is so low and the bass is so weak, it's still noticeable. Plus, there are so many pops and clicks, I keep checking for scratches that aren't even there. The only good thing I can say is that mine is definitely in stereo. But I'm really let down by this pressing. I promised myself 15 years ago when I started buying vinyl again that I wouldn't get reissues that were identical to what I already had on CD, like I did in the late 80’s when I replaced my old vinyl with pricey CD’s. I made an exception for this one, thinking it would be amazing, and it’s not- it was a HUGE blunder!

Awesome CD! The audio and the dynamics is fantastic for me on my Bose 2000XL speakers and Yamaha A-760 amp. It is my all-time favorite CD :)

  • Low Volume, Unstable Disc, Weak Bass

The volume is quite low and the disc feels unstable, even though it's 180gm. The bass is also not very prominent overall.
