Perhaps I just got fortunate, but my unit doesn't sound bad at all. I gave it a thorough cleaning right out of the box and it performs quite well. There's a bit of fuzziness now and then, but that's the extent of it. Like others have noted, I only have the digital copy to judge by, so I might be comparing it to the wrong sound.
awful quality. During the best parts, all you can hear is static. Don't waste your money.

The audio quality is absolutely phenomenal. The soundstage is incredibly expansive. I really hope they had put out a vinyl version too.
Received my copy today, Super warm guitar and piano tones. Haven't listened to other vinyl versions to make a comparison. Sounds great, I don't notice any distortions. But I wish there was a bit more soundstage and instrument separation. Overall, a nice pressing
