I've got the indie (white) version and there's always this annoying humming or static coming from the middle of Age of Anxiety I to Age of Anxiety II. I tried cleaning it, but it didn't make a difference. Has anyone else noticed this? Any ideas on how to fix it?
Man, my vinyl sounds awesome! There's a tad of surface hiss but it's not that bad. The gatefold's kinda crappy when you try to shut it, but I reckon the poster inside ain't helpin' matters.
People are all complaining about how their copy is noisy, but mine is actually one of the quietest records in my collection. Isn't that weird?
The audio quality is amazing, and my version works perfectly. Plus, the pressing looks great too!
The vinyl record I received was all marked up and smudged. Even after giving it a couple of cleanings, it still sounds terrible with lots of crackling and popping noises. The picture disc that came with the package actually sounds clearer. The quality control nowadays is just so frustrating.
