War gra tutaj w swoim charakterystycznym stylu funkowego rytmu, z reggae’owymi akcentami, dużo swobody, ale też zadaje pytania, dlaczego ludzie nie potrafią po prostu koegzystować. Tytułowy utwór to pozornie prosty refren, ale zapada w pamięć i ma przekaz, który w 1975 i dziś brzmi równie aktualnie.
