This remaster is phenomenal. The instruments are perfectly distinct, as others have noted, the bass hits hard, and every element sits just right in the blend. I can finally pick out details that were previously lost. A fantastic album, now even greater, and it's orange!
Couldn't have said it better myself. This is hands down my top pick from FF, and it's like experiencing it all over again. The sound quality is pristine and noise-free (those orange rules are the best), and the remastering is simply breathtaking. Discovering new elements is an endless joy, and I'm all for hearing Bob's bass lines with crystal clarity. Totally worth owning!
This is an excellent, pristine pressing. The remaster is definitely worth it, offering a richer sound with extra growl. Sounds that were previously hidden in the mix are now much clearer, and the bass is fuller all the way through. Knowing this album inside out, it's amazing to hear so much more detail! I'm thrilled with it.

Franz Ferdinand stands out among the recent wave of dance rock bands, and they're exceptionally good at it. In my opinion, this album is their finest work yet. It's packed with tracks that could easily top the charts and become crowd-pleasers. You might assume that stuffing so much onto one record could dilute the quality, but this album blows their self-titled debut out of the water. It's bursting with energy and dynamic range, the sound is crisp and clear, and it's an absolute joy to listen to. One of the band's strongest suits is how their guitarists complement each other, and this recording really showcases that chemistry. It's an album you'll find yourself coming back to time and time again. Highly recommended.
