  • Avoid This Poor Vinyl Reissue

    1 out of 5 stars
    Cletuaso_Wvoxhr27 December 2025United States🇺🇸

Listen to me, I'm begging you — don't waste your cash on this vinyl reissue. It was so terrible, I was convinced my needle was broken. As others have said: the sound is weak, it's mastered way too low, and there's a ton of hiss, making it impossible to crank up the volume. Third Man Records and Jack White ought to be embarrassed by how they've ruined some of these fantastic Verve and Blue Note albums.

  • Powerful Thin Sound, Great Music

    4 out of 5 stars

This LP requires a substantial amount of power to reach standard listening levels. I'd describe it as having a "thin" sound, perhaps a choice made by the recording engineer, but it's very clear and clean. The musicianship is outstanding, the songs are great, and the interplay between these talented artists is impressive. A fantastic deal for under $15.

  • Lackluster Sound Quality

I'm right there with the rest of the folks. It was dead silent, I even went and checked my gear for issues. No punch to the sound at all. Really let down by this one.

  • Avoid This Poor Quality Vinyl

Without a doubt, this is the poorest-quality vinyl record I own. It's not even worth the material it's pressed on. Steer clear of this awful release!
