Product Description

This 2025 Limited Edition Numbered Reissue LP is housed in a gatefold, pressed on 180g vinyl.

Television's "Adventure" is a seminal work that captures the raw energy and innovative spirit of the late 1970s. Released on April 1, 1978, under the Rhino/Elektra label, this album is a cornerstone of the proto-punk, post-punk, art rock, and new wave genres. With a runtime of just over an hour, "Adventure" is a testament to Television's groundbreaking sound and lyrical depth.

The album features iconic tracks like "Glory," "Days," and "Foxhole," all of which have been remastered for a crisp and clear listening experience. "Adventure" also includes lesser-known gems such as "The Fire" and "The Dream's Dream," showcasing the band's versatility and creativity. The inclusion of early versions and hidden tracks adds an extra layer of intrigue for both longtime fans and new listeners.

Television's unique blend of poetic lyrics and intricate guitar work sets "Adventure" apart from other albums of its time. The band's ability to merge punk's raw energy with the complexity of art rock makes this album a timeless piece of music history. Whether you're a fan of punk, rock, or experimental music, "Adventure" offers a compelling journey through the sounds and ideas that defined a generation.

  • Audio Decent, Noise Irritating

The audio is pretty decent, but there's a bunch of surface noise that's kinda irritating.

  • Original Pressing Triumphs

    5 out of 5 stars
    waslxwoa13 July 2025United States🇺🇸

Fantastic pressing! Well-balanced soundstage, punchy guitars, and a solid low end. I prefer this version over the Rhino Hi Fidelity release (and I'm a fan of Kevin Gray's mastering), but here the original takes the crown. They got it right the first time. Grab this one. • Impressive Bass, Harsh Highs

    4 out of 5 stars
    potkpnao17 June 2025United States🇺🇸

While I haven't had the chance to try the original, this one is really impressive. The bass is punchy and the detail is fantastic, although it can be a tad harsh on the highs. I'm a fan of intense mixes, so this has me eager to give the original a spin. [Tech specs in my profile].

utterly silent, sounds amazing, and balanced! Should you spot this at a bargain, don't hesitate! Rejoice and snag a copy!

  • Terrible Sound Quality

    teewwobxtonh16 March 2025United States🇺🇸

The other reviews are spot on. Terrible quality. Sounds loud and super thin.
