This "Fame" re-release has fantastic sound quality - it's punchy, crisp, and has a rich, full bass. It definitely beats out the newer re-releases. The only downside is the artwork's been scaled back.
Fantastic pressing! Super clean, perfectly flat and great presentation. Sounds huge.. These 2015 BMG releases of the Scorpions are amazing..

Regrettably, Dieter Dierks (engineer, producer) and Steve Fallone (mastering) fell short with the follow-up to "Lovedrive," delivering an album that's sonically lacking. Unlike "Lovedrive," which had the same production team, this one sounds like it's being played through a cheap AM radio. The tracks by Klaus Meine and the Schenker brothers are fantastic, though. It's pretty disappointing, to be honest.
It's strange. My version includes the mentioned matrix and sounds fantastic. The album has a gold stamp saying 'Manufactured by RCA music service under license' ns-8 #123528
