Super tidy and quiet, just how I like it! Totally dig it if you're into this sorta thing!
Great quality pressing and the tunes ain't too shabby neither
The vocals are amazingly vibrant! Steve Jordan and Pino Palladino make an unbeatable rhythm duo! It's a pristine pressing and it sounds gorgeous!
I decided to take a chance and bought the final copy available on a web store I stumbled upon. It happened to be a sealed 2017 reissue from We Are Vinyl. The vinyl was quiet, and the record was a hefty 180gram (though it was mistakenly listed as 150 on the store, but it turned out to be a typo)...the sound was clear and a bit bright but in a pleasant way. There's great air and space in the mastering. I'm really pleased with this pressing.
Listened to this on a top-notch setup, using a Soundsmith cartridge and Bowers & Wilkins speakers. Honestly, the mastering is just okay. It's not terrible, but it's definitely not as good as some of his other works.
