The pressing is spotless, with no unwanted background sounds and a wide sound stage. The bass is powerful, and I can now pick up on smaller instruments that I missed in other versions. Renee's voice is absolutely stunning. Maybe I'm just more of an audiophile than the negative Norman here 🙄
My copy has a lot of crackles and pops on Leave Me Alone, Mad, and Why Is She Still Here?, but apart from that, the record sounds REALLY great.
In my view, it's a bit of a shame that the sound stage feels somewhat cramped, which is more noticeable on certain tracks. That said, I'm still glad to give it a play, but I do wish it was a better quality pressing for such an amazing album.

Without a doubt, this is Reneé's most crystal-clear album, devoid of any of the background clutter found in her previous works. Not a hint of fuzz, even with seven tracks on side A - kudos!
