In my view, "Don’t Ya Think I’m Sexy?" is undoubtedly one of his greatest tracks ever, possibly even my top favorite. This album is definitely among my favorite Rod records, if not the absolute best! The dynamics on this pressing are fantastic, with an excellent master that makes the vocals shine and the synths rich, while the guitar packs a punch! I snagged this vinyl at a local store for just $3. There's a bit of surface noise on a track or two, but it's nothing major. That iconic line from "Attractive Female Wanted" – "I’ve been lonely too long all of my family think I’m gay (think I’m gay)" – is pure gold. I bought this album specifically for "Do Ya Think I’m Sexy?", but the rest of it is just as amazing! Highly recommend it, especially at such a bargain price – it's a fantastic pop rock album.
The audio quality is fantastic, and it's quite hushed, as you'd expect from a Japanese pressing. Plus, finding pristine copies is easy on the wallet, which is always a nice bonus.
Variant #4 exceeded my expectations in terms of sound quality. There's just a couple of pops on each side.
