Perhaps I wasn't fortunate, but my version appears somewhat warped. Contrary to numerous others, this Speaker Corners reissue doesn't quite measure up.
I got this item just now, still in its sealed packaging. There wasn't any inner sleeve, just a basic white one, so keep that in mind about Speakers Corner Records... and I haven't even played this record yet... Caravanserai was a awful pressing that I had a while back. I don't believe in Speakers Corner Records anymore as a supposed pure analog production... and "faithful reproduction of original artwork and labels"... my foot...
Far beyond its era. Fantastic soundstage with gorgeous clarity.
Wow, this SACD truly sounds incredible in every aspect. The quality of these 7-inch packages does an outstanding job of replicating the original releases, and the bonus features are really neat. They ain't exactly budget-friendly, but if you can swing it without potentially skipping a car payment these days, go ahead and treat yourself.
Without a doubt, this is the finest pressing I've ever experienced! Strongly advise giving it a try. The sound-stage is phenomenal. Vinyl is deader quiet.
