I managed to get hold of another one of these, and this time it's packed with way more liquid! Sure, some of the glitter still gets stuck in a corner, but it moves around a lot more than my other one. Plus, the sound quality is amazing – hardly any surface noise at all!
Given the short runtime, this EP could've easily been uneven, but the sound quality makes up for it. The vinyl pressing is stunning, with a perfect red hue that matches the project's vibe. "A Nonsense Christmas" is absolutely my favorite track, along with "buy me presents" – such an underrated holiday anthem!
My bottle's roughly 4/10 full, just under halfway. A good chunk of the glitter's settled at one side, but I reckon that's par for the course. The sound quality's fantastic, and that's what really matters. It's key to keep in mind that these novelty pressings are just that - novelty. They're not flawless. They're fun, especially when you're talking about liquid and glitter. All things considered, my copy looks and sounds awesome, and I'm stoked to have snagged one during the initial release, which sold out in mere minutes.
My one has hardly any liquid inside, and the glitter won't move from its spot.
Unfortunately, these vinyl records were only available to customers in the US. The website would kick them out of your cart if you tried to use a different address. But hey, the vinyl itself was awesome!
