The box it comes in is really nice, but the audio quality is just alright. It's definitely not one of the best sounding albums I've got.
Got this album right when it dropped and snagged a solid copy, sounds great! The sound quality is well-balanced, clear, and barely any pops. As usual, the music is stunning, and the packaging is fantastic – the booklet is really neat.
Side B is absolutely gorgeous. However, Side A is quite fuzzy, loud, and squashed, particularly in tracks like Hunger, Big God, and Sky Full of Songs. It's a real shame because the album is so delicate. I'm aware this isn't their most refined album production-wise, but it shouldn't sound this bad :(
The packaging is fantastic! Really like the booklet. This version is okay. I've seen some people not happy about it, but I'd say the sound is mostly pretty good.
