  • Sound Quality Triumphs

    5 out of 5 stars
    dagamuefP7eplhuos24 December 2025United States🇺🇸

At last, managed to grab one of these at a reasonable cost. Wow... This is the version to have.. if you don't care about the missing baby stuff, but honestly, the sound quality and everything else.. make up for it. Guitars/Synths just jump out at you from the speakers. Vocals are clear and sharp, even in the softer parts of the first track. Everything sounds, and looks (Cover's way more vibrant compared to Re-issues) fantastic :)

  • Upgraded Spin Impressive

    5 out of 5 stars
    Danmr10 November 2025United States🇺🇸

I gave this record another spin after upgrading my setup, and it's fantastic! It's a tad soft, but crank up the volume and the spaciousness, separation, and detail are truly impressive. The second album is a mixed bag, as some tracks sound a bit worn, but the original LP is brilliant. It's especially great because it's the only pressing with "Babies" that doesn't make you flip sides every few minutes. Plus, it still seems to be priced at its original retail value.

  • Defective Repress, Skip Issue

    1 out of 5 stars
    il8475_19919 October 2025United States🇺🇸

Warning! Overall, this repress sounds fantastic, but I've had to go through two copies now, and there's a pop/skip right at the beginning of the track 'Pink Glove.' I bought it yesterday from my local record store, which was awesome and swapped it out for me no questions asked, but I ran into the exact same problem again. I'm going to return it and pick up something else. There are other comments on discogs mentioning the same issue; this seems to be a problem with all the 2019 represses, not just a specific batch. It's not okay to keep pressing it with this obvious defect. It's a real bummer because the rest of the album sounds amazing.

  • Pulp's Gripping Pop Masterpiece

    5 out of 5 stars
    Vekepux_Voohfe23 June 2025United States🇺🇸

Pulp truly hits their stride here. Sleazy, clever, dramatic, and utterly gripping — Jarvis Cocker masterfully blends outsider appeal with pop genius. Tracks like “Lipgloss”, “Do You Remember the First Time?”, “Razzmatazz” — it's packed with catchy melodies and emotion, with a touch of quirkiness. The sound quality is superb — rich and full, vocals clear and upfront, synths and guitars sharp but not harsh. The vinyl is quiet, the stereo image is wide, and it's an incredibly enjoyable listen. It's the kind of album that feels even more amazing spinning late at night, lights dim and volume cranked!

  • Vinyl Skipping on Side C

    3 out of 5 stars
    QienxLhiceNijqs23 February 2025United States🇺🇸

Ordered this vinyl from Amazon twice already, and both times there's been loads of ticking and skipping sounds on side C, specifically on the track 'Pink Glove'. Has anyone else experienced this issue?
