Caught his performance at Coachella and just had to rush out and grab his albums! It reminded me so much of the first time I heard him. I adored it so much, I even splurged on an 180 gram vinyl! His music makes you feel like you're right there with him, sharing his tears and laughter. I don't have all his records yet, but I'm definitely working on it, lol.
This album is a gem, I was bracing myself for some typical angsty teen music, but it's far more mature than that. Tom's voice gives me serious Jeff Buckley vibes, though he's not quite on the same level, it's got that similar feel. I'm all about the simplicity and the gentle instrumentals. The way the music and lyrics come together is just beautiful. I can tell this is an album that will only get better with time. Standout tracks for me are 'Grow Old With Me', 'Can't Pretend', and 'Long Way Down'.
