Among my top picks from Gil Scott Heron's discography. The recordings are incredibly personal and expertly done. The accompanying documentary is superb, offering a glimpse into the life of this extraordinary artist. My only gripe is the poor quality vinyl, a recurring issue with XL Recordings. I played it once on a high-end system, and it already has clicks and pops, just like with 'I'm New Here' and 'The XX' from the same label. Come on, guys, put more effort into your products!
