Product Description

This is a 2023 Reissue released as a 2LP set.

Foo Fighters unleash their fifth studio album, "One By One," on October 22, 2002, under RCA Records. This powerful collection of tracks spans a diverse range of genres, including rock, post-grunge, alternative rock, and grunge, showcasing the band's versatility and depth. With a runtime of 1 hour and 18 minutes, the album is a testament to Foo Fighters' enduring appeal and musical prowess.

The album opens with the anthemic "All My Life," setting the tone for the raw, energetic performances that follow. Standout tracks like "Times Like These" and "Low" highlight the band's ability to craft memorable melodies and powerful lyrics. The album also features live performances of "For All The Cows" and "Monkey Wrench," recorded in Amsterdam and Melbourne, respectively, offering a glimpse into the band's electrifying live shows.

"One By One" is a compelling journey through the musical landscape of Foo Fighters, blending gritty rock anthems with introspective ballads. The album's dynamic range and emotional depth make it a standout in the band's discography, showcasing their ability to connect with audiences on a profound level. Whether you're a longtime fan or a newcomer to their music, "One By One" is an essential addition to any rock music collection.

  • Spotless Pressing, Excellent Quality

    5 out of 5 stars
    Zaxsoc_gyuc16 October 2025United States🇺🇸

This pressing is spotless, offering excellent audio quality without any pops, clicks, or crackling noises. The mastering isn't over-compressed like the CD version. I'd definitely recommend it.

  • Foo Fighters' Evolution

    4 out of 5 stars
    Favucifiuqepuz16 September 2025United States🇺🇸

One By One stands as the inaugural 'classic' lineup of the Foo Fighters. The first album was entirely recorded by Grohl solo in just a week, with band members joining only after they were signed. The second album is infamous for having all of Goldsmith's drum tracks replaced, leading to his departure. By the third album, Dave was still heavily involved, but after Taylor and Chris came aboard, he took a step back. This shift resulted in a more intriguing, well-rounded album that exceeds the sum of its parts. The energy dips a bit on Side C but picks up again on Side D. I'd say this is a generally well-executed pressing, but the mix is a tad muddled, leaning too heavily into the mids. The vocals are a bit buried, and the bass is overly prominent. I wish the dynamics were a bit better too. Still, it's a very solid pressing for what's likely one of my top two favorite Foo Fighters albums.

  • Poor Quality Pressing

    3 out of 5 stars
    uzevvevok31 July 2025United States🇺🇸

To be truthful, the quality on this pressing isn't that good, it seems to miss some range and depth. Particularly towards the end of 'Tired Of You', Dave's voice breaks on the last couple of lines.

  • UK Original Sounds Best

    5 out of 5 stars
    DkedmHomzik1427 June 2025United States🇺🇸

Hands down, this is the most amazing sounding version of this album. It's like the Foo Fighters are right there, playing live for you. It even beats the US original and the 2011 reissue. The UK original is the top choice. If you come across one, SNAG IT! I gotta mention, the album art on the sleeve isn't the best quality. But who cares, it's all about the tunes and this pressing is way better than the reissue.

  • Love Grows Stronger

Absolutely amazing, a top pick for me, gets even better over time ♥️
