played this on vinyl while hanging out with my best friend and it sounded great throughout. the vinyl color i got looked stunning to say the least. also, usually i would be bummed if vinyls are missing a track but Fragments is the worst song on the album lol.
Not the greatest pressing, if compared to Smithereens (093624864554). Sounds rather flat. Could've had more stereo separation somewhere.Speakers: JBL L112Cartridge: Shure M44GTurntable: Technics SL-1200 MK5Mixer / Pre-amp: Vestax PMC-25Amp: Kenwood KR-2090
Is missing a track with Don Toliver. But I can live without it to be honest. I pre-ordered this a few months back when the album was newly announced. I'm not amazed by the album, but it's fine I guess. At least I got to listen to it 4 hours earlier when it came in early lol.
good sounding record, mixes differ in some songs, hence some songs are louder, some quieter. A side got more crackles than b side, but other than that i am pretty pleased with the record. poster is fucking huge.
Very good pressing. Vocals are clean and bass is strong without overbearing the rest of the music. Some surface noise during the first 2-3 songs on side B, unsure whether it was static or a production blemish of some kind. The red color of the record with the white swirl accents is beautiful and fits the color scheme of the album art perfectly. Thanks for coming back to us Joji, we missed you. 😊
