Nothing else comes close to this Mono Monarch Other. I'm excited to listen to the Stereo Monarch Other, as my research didn't clearly indicate which one is superior. I decided to go with the mono version - it surpasses my already very high expectations.
Folks must have average equipment coz this sounds awesome on mine 😂
Grabbed this for a bargain since I don't own a stereo version, and I'm happy it didn't cost much. Yeah, the sound quality's just okay, weak on the bass and doesn't pack a punch on the highs. I'm sure there are stereo versions that sound fantastic, but this one's not among them. [Tech specs in my profile]
The audio quality is fantastic and seems to employ the same mastering process as the EU 2021 re-release by Bernie Grundman.
