Totally '80s vibe, but I'm all for it. Great new piece for my Kraftwerk lineup.
The disc is quite flimsy, and so is the cover. As a 45 rpm record, it's somewhat short on high notes; the middle and low sounds really stand out.
Way back in the early 80s, this track was showcased in the film "Breakin'". When it hit Mexico as a 12" vinyl, the artwork read in Spanish "the broom dance" from the flick "breakin'". It was dubbed that due to a main character in the movie, a dancer, who snatched a broom to sweep the floor and then started grooving to Kraftwerk's Tour de France.
Can't wait for this update to drop, so we can grab it lol
I've got a version in my collection that's got a promo stamp on the label and a promo sticker on the front cover.
