I've got the real brown marbled version mentioned in the ad. Plus, it's truly Undertow, judging by the songs, no relation to Opiate...
I took a shot and bought this. The price was right. The jacket's a bit on the thin side, and it's got those white paper inner sleeves. I gave it a good clean as soon as I got it. Sound quality is really impressive, well-balanced, and dynamic. The soundstage is quite nice for my modest setup. It's clean, no scratches or anything. There's some surface noise, but the sound is fantastic—great bass and highs. Really pleased with it. Running it through Onkyo/Schitt Mani/Fluance RT85/ELAC Uni-Fi 2.0 UB52. Everyone's experience is gonna be different, this is just mine.
The sound quality on this bootleg version is far from what you'd expect from the band. It's been mastered way too low, and there's an official vinyl release you can get instead. Go for that one.
Arrived a bit bent and had some surface scratches. But all in all, it sounds warm and punchy. It sounds pretty decent to me. Really enjoyable record
Awesome audio. Volume levels are spot on. Just ditch those lousy sleeves, and you're set. Keep rockin'!
