The liner notes are a eulogy for Karen from her brother. The album contains strong soft pop/rock tracks. As I've starting spinning Carpenters recently, I'm always impressed by the artistry Richard Carpenter on the arrangements and instrumentation. Karen had the voice, not the greatest pop/rock voice but a strong one; but it's the music with which Richard surrounds her that makes the set pop. "Your Baby Doesn't Love You Anymore" is a track that I can pick up the needle and replay with fascination. Strong LP. Enjoy!
