Amazing album, one of her finest. It's even better than the UK first release.
Absolutely fantastic glam rock by Suzi - possibly one of her top albums in my opinion. The title track is simply amazing! The quality of the pressing is also excellent. I did a side-by-side comparison with the UK and Japanese versions, and this one outshines the UK release. Though, the Japanese version still takes the cake.
This album caught me off guard in the best way, and I'm definitely keeping it. With all the mislabeled 'psychedelic rock' out there, this one truly earns that title. I'll make the necessary tweaks to the tags, trying to avoid the watchful eyes of the data-bank gurus. I'll remove 'glam' from the tags, but let's be clear, this isn't glam at all. I wholeheartedly recommend this album: it's got clever arrangements and a voice so pure and raw, it feels almost like a live performance.
