Today, I received a brand new, sealed gatefold version. The quality is amazing!
Yet another one with identical IDs, but it's missing the hype sticker. I bought this in 2025, so it seems they've been pressing more of these lately. My copy was quite off-center on disc 1. The sound is alright, but it's very bottom-heavy and lacks a lot in the high end, like cymbals and such. Disc 2, though, was perfect with no quality issues. It's also quite bottom-heavy in sound.
Oh, absolutely, yes! Record Industry pressings = vinyl that's flat and quiet. It just needed a simple clean, and after adding poly liners to the printed inners, this pressing will always deliver. And it really does deliver... the sound is incredibly lifelike, for lack of a better term. It's more natural than the CD I own. Though, I suppose that could just be my turntable's vibrant personality. While a gatefold of high quality would've been nice for this genuine classic, I'm still very happy with it. You can't beat Record Industry pressings, and that's what's most important!
