Just by looking at the cover of Drive, you'll want to own it. That Limited edition sticker, though, it's only on the RSD pressing. The whole album is incredible, and the way The Deftones put their spin on these tracks, yet still keep that nostalgic feel, is just brilliant.
Awesome quality. All the tracks sound vibrant and crisp. Plus, the song choices are off the charts!
Shocked this one's still priced so low. Top-notch pressing, super quiet noise floor and the mix holds up well throughout most songs - no easy feat since it's a compilation - perhaps a tad dull sounding overall but I attribute that to typical compilation mastering/mixing challenges from various sources. This release shows the Deftones proving their skill is more modest and runs way deeper than just their signature style. Being able to give their unique twist on freaking Sade without ruining it is truly an art! If you're into the Deftones, grab this.
Picked this up for around twenty bucks at the grocery store. Audio is crisp, barely any hiss.
