Intolerable hissing on quite a few songs, especially "Lodi Dodi". Tested on various turntables, even a 1200 with a new stylus.
I've got the DRR-LP-63420 vinyl too, and this CD outshines it in every way.
I purchased this way back in 2001, expecting it to include the official clean versions. What a letdown! None of the official radio edits are present (the ones with different lyrics). Instead, most of the explicit language has been reversed (backmasked). Even someone with basic audio editing software and average editing skills could've done a better job. Absolutely awful!
like i mentioned… terrible packaging. fortunately, i only got a few small corner dings. can't wait to play both versions. ❤️ update: damn, this version is awesome. only issue is that the jacket's not a gatefold.
