    Haven't noticed the surface noise others have mentioned—don't have the AP version but this is my second spin and it sounds pretty perfect to me. I'm sure there might be some mastering stuff I can't catch since I haven't heard other pressings, but it's quiet and sounds great to my ears. Just a heads up, the sleeve that came with it scratched the record a bit.

    Talented, but not fantastic in my view. I genuinely dislike what Bernie Grundman does with Jazz. The bass is far away and puffy, you lose the essence of the acoustic instrument. Took out my Japanese Riverside box and the matching disc, sounds way better, bass more clear and upfront, sounds like a real instrument. This is a skip for me, especially at this cost. The packaging is absurd and pointless, this should be $50 tops, days are numbered on nonsense like this. I
