The sound quality of my pressing is truly awful. It's all blurred and dull, with no distinction between the instruments and vocals at all. Has anyone else encountered this problem with this or other pressings?
picked up a second-hand one. The sound's alright, but the mix ain't great, there's a bunch of distortion on certain songs.
Audio quality is fantastic! Instruments are well-distinguished - the bass and kick drum really pack a punch. Can't quite confirm if it's AAA since the "sourced from the original masters" phrasing is a bit vague, but it's an excellent sounding release regardless.
My record is ridiculously noisy. It sounded like a cereal box when I first played it, even after I cleaned it with an antistatic brush. I'm hoping VPI can fix the snaps, crackles, and pops. The pearl vinyl looks awesome, but I'm not happy with how it's packaged. It's just the original cover (with a VMP stamp) and a plain plastic sleeve. The notes say there's a printed inner sheet, but I didn't get one, and I don't see a picture of it here. Did anyone else receive one?
Absolutely amazing Mofi release! The audio is rich and crisp with awesome dynamics!
