Product description

This 2LP set is pressed on 180g vinyl.

Pink Floyd's 'The Endless River' is a poignant and mesmerising swansong, released on 10 November 2014, through Columbia Records. This fifteenth and final studio album from the legendary English rock band is a testament to their enduring legacy, crafted under the leadership of guitarist David Gilmour. Following a 20-year hiatus since their previous album, 'The Division Bell', 'The Endless River' is a masterful blend of progressive rock, psychedelic rock, classic rock, symphonic rock, and art rock, showcasing the band's signature sound.

The album's 18 tracks, including 'Things Left Unsaid', 'It's What We Do', and 'Louder Than Words', take the listener on a sonic journey, with each piece meticulously crafted to create a cohesive and immersive experience. The 'Deluxe 2-Disc Set' edition offers a treasure trove of additional content, featuring high-resolution audio, non-album material, and six video tracks, accompanied by a 24-page deluxe hardback booklet and three collectors' postcards.

'The Endless River' is a fitting culmination of Pink Floyd's illustrious career, with the band's distinctive sound and style still resonating deeply. This album is a must-listen for fans of the genre and a poignant reminder of the band's innovative spirit and creative genius. With its release, Pink Floyd has left an indelible mark on the music world, ensuring their legacy will continue to inspire and influence generations to come.

  • Nostalgic Floyd Box Set

    3 out of 5 stars
    vesveg401December 2, 2025United Kingdom🇬🇧

This box set includes a CD, a DVD, a book, and three postcards. Ultimately, the music is what counts. If you're hoping for something fresh, groundbreaking, or unique in this collection, you might be let down. While it was a collaborative creative effort, each track feels like a Pink Floyd song you've heard before. You'll catch hints of "Wish You Were Here," "The Wall," "Dark Side Of The Moon," and even, unexpectedly, "A Saucer Full Of Secrets." Although this collection is essentially a rehash of their post-Syd Barrett work, it's not an unpleasant listen. The tracks feel more like jams than polished songs, and some parts seem weak because of that, but overall, I enjoyed this set more than Pink Floyd's post-Roger Waters studio albums. They gave Richard Wright more creative control, and you can really hear his influence. Wright was a major part of Pink Floyd's sound, and this collection proves it. If you're a fan of Pink Floyd's older music, you should find a cheap CD copy and enjoy it. As mentioned earlier, this box set comes with a DVD, some postcards, and a photo book. One of the postcards is a cool hologram, but the other two are boring, and the book is just photos of the three remaining band members. In the end, it's the music that matters, and even though it's unoriginal, it sounds more like Pink Floyd than anything they've released since the mid-1970s.

  • Leftovers Fall Short

    3 out of 5 stars
    CosuVelcibiNovember 22, 2025United Kingdom🇬🇧

I'm still puzzled as to why they chose to put out these tracks as a standalone album; honestly, they'd have been better off including them in the 2014 re-release of "The Division Bell." That would've made more sense and maybe given them the attention they deserve. As it stands, this collection feels like a bunch of leftovers, random bits, and second-rate attempts to recreate that classic Pink Floyd vibe. It's not terrible (it could've been a lot worse), but don't go in with high hopes. If you keep your expectations in check, you'll find some decent moments in songs like "It's What We Do", "Skins", "Unsung", "Eyes To Pearls" and ---- "Sum" ----> my favorite track in this bunch.

  • Immersive Album, Skip Last Track

    3 out of 5 stars
    zlekxemkocOctober 17, 2025United States🇺🇸

Well, after what felt like an eternity, my double deluxe vinyl and the standard CD finally showed up. I haven't opened the vinyl yet and reckon I'll keep it sealed since the CD sounds absolutely fantastic. I'm a vinyl guy at heart, but I'm not a big fan of double albums with all that side-flipping business. The music is immersive, filling the room with layers of sound. It's exactly what I hoped it would be. The tunes are quite enjoyable. As for the lyrics, Samson's contribution is painfully dull, but luckily, it's only one track, and it's the last one at that, so it's easy to skip. This album seems perfect for blasting while doing chores or working on a song. The CD's sound quality is top-notch, some of the best I've heard. It's kinda neat having a sealed vinyl copy. I'm curious about the inner sleeve, but I might just check it out on someone else's copy someday.

  • Quiet, Emotional Masterpiece

    5 out of 5 stars
    Buygi54September 27, 2025United States🇺🇸

This European version (I've got Variant 1) is remarkably quiet, not a single crackle across all four sides. It's easily one of the best-sounding records in my collection. I'm really fond of the matte gatefold cover and the booklet, the music is gentle, refined and full of emotion. A fantastic release.

  • Pink Floyd's Fresh Ambient

    5 out of 5 stars
    keyidvSeptember 23, 2025United Kingdom🇬🇧

After giving this album a spin, I've gotta say it's precisely what you'd anticipate from a bunch of Pink Floyd's ambient instrumental leftovers. If you're anything like me, that's a good thing. There's some bits that really rock, other parts that meander a bit, and one track featuring old man Gilmour's distinctive crooning. But overall, it's a Pink Floyd album packed with fresh material, masterfully produced, and that's what makes it stand out.
